NFL Week 4 Against The Spread Picks Battle

We sucked last week.

But in all honesty, it was a tricky week. Atlanta did it again, the Giants were a disgrace, and then the Chiefs reminded us who is the best team in the NFL.

The good thing is there is always a chance to bounce back.

Let’s roll with our ATS picks in the NFL Week 4.

Joe’s NFL Week 4 Picks Against The Spread Dallas Cowboys -5 vs. the Browns

The Cowboys fought hard in Seattle in a shootout game but ultimately came up a touchdown short. This week, they host the visiting Cleveland Browns. Oddsmakers have installed them as a -5 favorite.

Cleveland won two games after being demolished in Week 1 in a matchup against Baltimore. However, their wins came against the Bengals and Washington, two low caliber teams with rookie quarterbacks.

Dallas Cowboys is a much better team, and though they are a mess defensively, they should easily put up points against a still shaky Browns’ defense.

Lay the points with Dallas.

Bet Cowboys -5 At MyBookie.Ag Los Angeles Chargers +7.5 at Tampa Bay

The Chargers once again are in a familiar spot. They’ve started the season 1-2 and have already been hit with their fair share of injuries. And again, they’ve had a lot of close games.

L.A. narrowly lost to the Chiefs in overtime in Week 2 but failed to get it done last week against the visiting Panthers, losing 21-16.

However, I’m not sure the Buccaneers deserve to be laying more than a touchdown in this one. They haven’t been impressive to start the year, especially after seeing the Saints lose two straight. A team Tampa Bay was beaten easily by in Week 1.

The Chargers have a competent defense, and though he has no wins, rookie QB, Justin Herbert, has looked fantastic so far. Tampa Bay’s defense is nothing special.

I think the Buccaneers win this game, but more than a touchdown is too much. Take the points with the road team.

Bet Chargers +7.5 At MyBookie.Ag Buffalo Bills -3 at Las Vegas

No one has had a hotter start to the year than Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills. They managed to blow a massive lead to the Rams in Week 3, but still rallied late to get the victory and move to 3-0.

The Raiders have also been a bit of a surprise. They lost at New England last week but started the season 2-0 with wins at New Orleans and against the visiting Panthers.

However, this line is simply too short for Buffalo. They’re a far better team and have plus matchups nearly all over the field, especially when it comes to quarterback and defensive play.

I wouldn’t say I like taking road favorites, but at three points or less and the road team having a much superior roster – I’ll lay the points.

Bet Bills -3 At MyBookie.Ag Alonzo’s NFL Week 4 Picks Against The Spread Miami Dolphins +6.5 vs. Seahawks

Seattle has been impressive on offense and is coming off a win where they left Dallas to hang around for too long. They should have ended the game earlier.

But nobody is talking about how their defense is the worst in the NFL. In fact, the Seahawks defense allows 430.0 passing yards per game. That’s 80 more passing yards than the lousy Falcons’ secondary, which is second-worst in the league.

The Seahawks have to fly across the country to play an early game in a place with lots of humidity. I feel like it’s a bad spot for Seattle, especially with Miami having ten days to rest. Grab the points.

Bet Dolphins +6.5 At MyBookie.Ag LA Rams -13 vs NY Giants

I hate large spreads, but they are a bunch in Week 4. We might as well grab at least and be done with it.

The Giants were a major disappointment last weekend. They couldn’t even compete against a team that was depleted by injuries. By the third quarter, there was no game. The Niners destroyed them.

The LA Rams suffered a heartbreaking loss in Buffalo, but facing the G-Men is the right recipe to bounce back.

I don’t see how the Giants score enough points to stay toe to toe with the Rams. Lay down the points.

Bet Rams -13 At MyBookie.Ag Kansas City Chiefs -7 vs. Patriots

Pat Mahomes is 1-2 against the Patriots in his career. He has thrown eight touchdowns in three games against Bill Belichick’s defenses and has posted 40 and 31 points in the two losses.

Before, the Patriots had Tom Brady to matchup Mahomes’ drives point per point. Cam Newton is not that QB. New England is running the football well this season, but we already saw what the Chiefs’ defense did to Lamar Jackson and company just last week.

I don’t think the Patriots have the talent to match the Kansas City Chiefs on either side of the ball. Take the home team.
