  • Three of Monday’s four matchups feature a favorite of -417 or higher
  • Read below for our best bets

Day 4 of the Tennis Point Exhibition series continues on Monday as we’ll have four fresh matchups on the board. Dustin Brown and Yannick Hanfmann have been the two best players in this event and they’re laying a lot of juice on Monday.

As a matter of fact, three of the four matchups feature a big favorite. Let’s take a closer look and see what are the best bets for Monday’s matches.

Odds taken May 3

Hanfmann Heavily Favored Over Broska

Yannick Hanfmann has been one of the top players at this tournament but he is coming off his first loss. After winning each of his first four matchups, he fell to Jan Choinski on Sunday in a pair of tiebreaks. It was a really close matchup, so it’s not as if he was blown out. Other than that, he’s only lost two sets.

Broska is a big dog here, mostly because he’s been just average at this event. He lost his first two matches won his next two and split his contests on Sunday. Hanfmann should win here but this line is too high. I’d either take a flier on Broska or bet the over 11.5 as this match could go longer than expected.

Haerteis Laying Huge Number Over Werner

Johannes Haerteis is another player you might want to think twice about before laying such a huge number with. He’s 3-3 at this tournament, but two of his wins came in three sets so he’s been no sure thing, even in victory.

Clean sweep. 🧹

The reason Haerteis is favored is because he actually has wins – or a win. Jean-Marc Werner has been absolutely terrible at this event sitting at 0-6. He’s often getting his clock cleaned in the matches too, as he won just three games in his first match on Sunday and the two in his second.

Since Werner has won just 19 games in six matches and because I don’t want to lay this amount of juice in this kind of a tournament, I’d bet the under in this showdown.

Brown Expected to Deliver Against Hassan

Dustin Brown came into this event as one of the best-known players. He was the highest ranked on the ATP Tour and he had produced the most successful ATP results of anyone entered. So far, it’s been so good, as he’s won five of his six matchups. The only player he’s lost to is Hanfmann, who has also won five of his six contests.

Dustin Brown digs deep to defeat Jean-Marc Werner 4-3 (7-5) 4-3 (7-4). This match had it all, superb shotmaking, fantastic rallies and lots of smiles #BringingTennisBack pic.twitter.com/ZifX2oJCi7

Benjamin Hassan is a big dog here, with just two wins in his six contests. However, it’s worth noting he’s been competitive. Two of his four losses were three-set matches and one of his losses on Sunday was a two-set loss, but the second set went deep into the tiebreak (12-10) before he lost.

Hassan’s matches have lasted 14.0 games per contest, so I’ll bet the over in this one. Brown probably gets the win but it’s another huge moneyline here that I don’t want to risk it with.

Choinski Small Favorite Over Schmitz

Choinski has been one of the best players at this event, winning four of six matches. His only losses were to Hanfmann and Brown, who have each lost just once in their six matches. If you’re looking at players to win this whole thing, that’s probably the power ranking with those two in front and Choinski in third.

Jan Choinski takes the second match 4-3 4-3 vs Yannick Hanfmann in a close match. This also brings Hanfmann’s winning streak to an end, opening up the table #BringingTennisBack #GameOn pic.twitter.com/2lR6FBoQ9l

Constantin Schmitz is at the other end of the spectrum, just 2-4 in his six contests. Even his wins aren’t that impressive, needing tiebreaks to get by Broska and beat the winless Werner. I’m not thrilled about laying -282 but I do think Choinski gets the job done here.
